THE FALL SHOPPING GUIDE: PT II
Another batch of 250 picks. I shopped the market and pulled only what’s worth your time—plus a full report on where I see the market moving.

The Fall Shopping Guide (Pt 1) is live
I think I said 200, but it ended up being 250.

Donegal Merino that Marine Layer sent me feels kinda right today.
As you know, I am #long textured knits (stitch type, fleck, marl etc) and #short flat, solid knits
It’s also already 20% off, making it like $125

@funandprofitco Here's your Made in USA for nearly double the price. You should tell them it should cost $898 though maybe they'll give you a discount

@heroin_sheikh Had similar question about collar. On the other hand it differentiates it from all the other big wool coats. If Ralph styled it in collegiate/heritage Americana, I bet you'd be ok. The black tie is asinine.

A good quirk of guys getting deeper into clothes is calling sweaters “knits”
Sweaters are knitted, but knitting is just construction. Polos are knits. T-Shirts are knits.
(There’s a nuance of cut and sew vs. full fashioned)
ABC Pants actually use knitted fabric.
Internal biz architecture often houses polos, tees, thermals, henleys etc. all under “knit tops” as a bucket.
And “sweaters” are filed as “sweaters.”
@michaelmiraflor@catucci Was less about the poly than it was the ideological zealotry in general, which I find mockworthy if you’re talking about clothing
Fashion industry dialogue:
*there’s an issue*
Hey man there’s an issue can you tell them to fix it going forward so we stop running into this.
“Yes they acknowledged there would likely be an issue”
Ok… got it… Can you tell them to stop doing it though please
