After a few weeks trying out Claude code, i think you can basically build anything your only limitation is good data / good APIs
Good APIs will be the moneymakers IMO
1. Those negative fat tail events will destroy the last 50-100 profitable ones without proper risk management
2. Running a stop loss can lead to unexpected results wrt to win rate and profitability but I won’t go into detail…
gotta tune those hyper parameters and lol running this Strat without a stop loss is kinda wild given it appears he’s risking 1k-1.2k per trade, placing limit orders at .985 close to resolution and just claiming which *works* but as he will likely soon seen…
After 115 winning trades in a row with my @Polymarket bot, I finally got my first loss.
116 trades total, 115 wins at +1.5%, 1 loss.
I honestly didn’t think it could happen, but every downside comes with an upside. Thanks to this loss, I realized I could integrate a stop-loss into the bot.
Instead of risking a full loss and losing 100% of the traded amount, I can now cap losses to 20–30% per trade. That’s a good improvement compared to the current setup.
Current PnL:
> 115 wins at 1.5% → +170%
> 1 loss → -100%, but from now on each loss should be limited to -20–30% max
A lot of people say that since Polymarket added fees to the 15-minute markets, targeting 1.5% doesn’t make sense anymore.
I won’t go into details, but my implementation avoids paying those fees, and actually earns more now because I receive them instead.
For the few who already have the bot, I’ll push the stop-loss update later today.
If you’re interested in the bot or the logic, feel free to DM me. I don’t want to share it publicly for now to avoid losing the edge.
honestly such a great example of engagement farming (with a good purpose)
and if you read their article on the funding this tweet makes even more sense
maybe attention is all you need
Hey @OpenAI :) We just saw that you are using our open source library React Flow 🔥 We offer startup discount codes :) Let us know if you are interested 👀
@seanbonner not trying to force it when clearly there’s nothing left; it’s my fatal flaw and the team helped me see I need to learn to let these products go sometimes even if I want to keep working on it, feasibly I am responsible for making sure me and the team get fed
@seanbonner not if I run out of money & without volume there’s no fees to fund the product
the chart dumped on the low volume far before that
I gave updates and we kept going from 130k to 20k
R/r it truly makes more sense to create a new product/idea and keep trying until pmf/users…
getting good results from swapping within the agent, next going to wrap up launching tokens and work on group chat automating; allowing you to ape into scans and manage your portfolio while you sleep!
So thanks to you for still being here, for still believing in me and for still trusting that I will deliver, and huge thanks to @raydium and especially @solporttom…
Initially the plan was simple; stealth launch and keep quiet until the tech was ready, but ofc word of mouth spread and things got a little out of hand as suddenly I felt the burden of feeling responsible for the chart and feeling bad for not being able to execute fast enough
As I’ve said, @dex__flow was never a planned entry into the hackathon; with about 1wk left one of my friends had a great idea and me being the crazy dev I am thought it would be perfect to make it into smth that everyone can use to help them make data + ai powered decisions
Just wanted to show a quick demo of the platform to give a picture of what to expect once beta codes start rolling out; the focus is on a simple user experience while making the agents the complex part.
Job is not done and each day there will be updates rolling out.
- after getting feedback from a short beta will do a GA release
- demo video showing off the platform coming soon stay tuned
- will do devving livestreams as well as spaces this week so be prepared for that
