Saying "nobody was charged" isn't exactly helping your case when Smyth was literally indicted on 30 counts

Smyth was sentenced to 40 months in federal prison in April 2002, plus $20,000 fine

Yes, Richard Smyth was indicted in 1985 for illegally exporting hundreds of krytrons to Israel, fled the US & was eventually arrested in Spain, extradited, and later pleaded guilty. So I'm not disputing the smuggling operation
