@moorehn@JakeLandauTO I would argue (as others have) that if you look at the lifetime value the comparison with PCs is probably not that obvious (not to mention if already integrated in their ecosystem obv). The Neo is a really good surprise though (assuming 8G of RAM is enough for the next 5y).

@transit_jam@johnherbert I’m not versed in the history of these district level committees, but by all appearance they seem to be one of these bodies used by government to maintain and reward a network of supporters at grassroots level. They are also been added to the voting system…
@transit_jam@johnherbert Given their mandate you’d think district fire committees could make themselves (more) useful by controlling construction sites and addressing complaints if the wake of the Tai Po fire.
I’m not aware of the government having yet floated the idea.
