It is profoundly disturbing to see young social media influencers casually rationalize Hitler and the Nazi regime’s systematic extermination of six million Jews during the Holocaust. The only thing more terrifying than Holocaust denial is Holocaust glorification.
The comfort with which these commentators defend the most evil man ever to roam the earth should send chills down the spine of every decent person.
The instrumentalization of the tragedy of all those imprisoned and murdered in the German Nazi concentration and extermination camp Auschwitz for political messaging is a profound moral failure. Auschwitz is not a prop. @KyleLangfordCA, your post is an affront to the dignity of the victims and a disturbing display of insensitivity and disregard to horryfying human history.

When I called these Israeli extremists "terrorists," I got some angry/abusive responses from some readers -- not, of course, from Israelis, who agree with me, but from pro-Israel people abroad.
But these are actual terrorists. They target innocent civilians. They hate other religions and other ethnicities as an overriding principle. They hate the state of Israel too when it doesn't obey their command. They attack and wound IDF soldiers without thinking twice.
It's long, long past time we dealt with them as harshly as we have learned to deal with every other kind of terrorist. If you burn a house or systematically vandalize cars and businesses because of the ethnicity of the owners, you should rot in prison. If someone dies in your rampage, you're a murderer with extra years for aggravated hate crime. See how simple that is?
And if you set up an ambush for IDF soldiers at which soldiers are wounded, those soldiers can shoot back.
It's not complicated, even if Ben Gvir & Co. try their damnedest to pretend it is.
Mike Huckabee is right. And it's a damn shame that we need the American ambassador, this passionate lover of Israel, to remind us just how vile this rogue element within us has become.
Bibi, this is low-hanging fruit. A no-brainer. Get it done.

Gracias. ❤️”
