Had some folk ask me about getting their illustration folios ready for agent submission - so here's a thread of my top tips -
1. Make sure you have a website. It doesn't have to be flashy or expensive but it must look clean, and be easy to navigate.

finishing games is the main skill in game making and the hardest skill to learn. lower the complexity. take something “known” like Tetris, Breakout or Flappy Bird, recreate the rules exactly & then change 1 rule to something new. polish it with a fun start screen or custom art.
I thought the same thing. Student loan interest rates are significantly higher than a home loan or car loan. Much worse than the amount I took out to go to school is the amount I owe now and the amount I will end up paying over the life of trying to pay off this debt
100% agree with the following quote about AI art—“First, and most importantly: Making art is a deeply rewarding, soul-enriching experience. There's nothing like it. Even if AI changes or displaces jobs, isn't a life where you're making art better than a life where you aren't?”
