@BradRTorgersen I wonder how much of the .40's popularity came from the '94 mag ban. When limited to 10 rounds in an era were subcompact guns were not yet common, I could see taking a Glock 23 over a Glock 19 because they're the same size, but you only "gave up" 3 rounds in .40 versus 5 for 9mm.

@Grummz I've been a fan of sumo for years. While amateur women's sumo does exist now, that's a very recent invention. There is zero chance that a woman in that era would have been a sumo wrestler. Traditionally, women were not allowed to even *touch* the sumo ring.
