@robnunnery@Naz_981 On the flip side: what’s the alternative? “Look how many people will come when we offer free tickets!” Sometimes full disclosure is difficult to write headlines for.
Why have contracts then? If that were the case then all players have to do to get out of current contract before terms end is just start playing with another paddle? A company has to pursue remedy or there would be breaches with all contracts. There’s no reason to have contracts if that were the case. What if a company didn’t supply paddles to a player under contract to play with—you’d expect the player to be able to claim breach of contract the other way. They’d be stupid not to take legal action — either way!
