If nothing more than hunkering down in my class with all my students behind me. School shooters are cowards, that's why they go to gun free zones. The first gun they see they run or shoot themselves

Because gun free zones are a magnet for crazies. Knife, baseball bat, revolver, rifle it doesn't matter. Lawless people can do lots of damage in 5 minutes.

@marynoise @BaltimireNoMore @meg_merilees @JoyAnnReid Yes, I have 8 kids 21 to 31 in a blended family. @BaltimireNoMore stated he thought teachers are stupid enough to shoot each others. I carry daily as do 4 of my kids and 6 of their spouses. Prior to carrying I had been held up at gunpoint 3 times. 1 pistol, 1 rifle and 1 shotgun.

Running 100 rounds once a quarter at a range takes an hour, that's 2 hours of my time 4 times a year. Our local police department offers range time for public safety personnel Free at the police station range.

Shooters only go to gun free zones where thy know they are the only one with a gun. The moment a gun show up they shoot themselves or run.

SROs are not synonymous with SBLEs, School Based Law Enforcement officers. 42% of schools have SROs and just 10% of schools have SBLEs

@marynoise @IronmanMann Depends on what magazine. How many shots do the officers have? The shooter left when real cops showed up. Nobody had to shoot at him. They picked him up on the street because he walked out of the building. All the cowards had to do was open the door and yell "Police stop".

@marynoise @treasonstickers An AR15 is a shingle shot rifle. Officers wear bullet proof vests. They carry handguns, and shotguns. Are you saying that 5 trained police officers were outgunned by a 19 year old with a rifle? Why hire police if they are useless against teenagers?

@marynoise @treasonstickers FOUR police officers arrived and stayed outside behind their cars watching the shooter kill teenagers. An UNARMED school coach did more to protect the kids than the coward officers. Unarmed students students stood up to take bullets for their friends.
