@drjefffugate@GovMattBevin@realDonaldTrump@POTUS I just thankful you have the governor as a friend. Awesome to even get to greet the president let alone talk and leverage Christian principals.
Thank you @GovMattBevin for allowing me the distinct honor to welcome @realDonaldTrump to Kentucky this week. It was an amazing experience to ride with @POTUS in the Presidential Limousine "The Beast". We need to keep both our Governor & President in office.
The Christian community should be the one community in all of society that is known for restoration rather than retribution, forgiveness rather than fault-finding. It should be a safe place to land and a soft place to fall.
Churches should be sanctuaries—judgment-free zones of safety and refuge where people can come as they are, not as they should be, and find love and joy and laughter and rest and hope and healing and acceptance and forgiveness and mercy and help.
You didn't get into God's family because of your performance, and you won't get kicked out because of your performance. God chose to love you because of who He is, not because of who you are or what you did, so He's not going to stop loving you.

I am just as in need of grace and forgiveness today as I have ever been. My life doesn’t look like Jesus’—it looks like someone who needs Jesus. And it is utterly exhausting (and counterproductive) to pretend otherwise.
Did you know that worry comes from thinking we are in control. True rest is unattainable for those who are obsessed with leading their own lives. But rest is one of the primary postures of those who know Jesus, because we have a God who is in control and who is taking care of us.
Churches that will thrive in any meaningful way going forward, will not be castles of purity where only the “morally fit” feel comfortable, but rather basements of grace where broken sinners are embraced and forgiven; places where sin doesn’t shock and grace still amazes.
There’s no question that for far too long the church has been primarily concerned with external change. Preachers are afraid of grace because they think it undercuts obedience and… https://t.co/dKqnxa3sJc
