27-33 are the years when we feel that we cannot leave things as they are. At 27-33, society imposes insane standards to get something worthwhile done. By a certain age, it is imperative to marry, develop a career, and have a house and children. It seems like someone has put a stopwatch on your life. But this mistake just because you think you have to, that can really mess things up. These years are important in that they help to understand what you really want, and not what you think you should. It’s about exploration and making decisions that go hand in hand with your nature and values. Don’t succumb to external noise and accept solutions. Take your time, go different ways, and make sure the steps are thoughtful and meaningful to you. The pressure is real, but so is the need to live on your terms.
Let’s practice giving people their flowers while they’re here.
If someone inspires you, let them know.
If you love the work someone is doing, let them know.
What ever it is that makes them special, let them know that you see it, and really appreciate it.
