@allison_a13 I now have a nexplanon and I really like it. That’s always an option too! They numb you up before putting that in your arm!

@allison_a13 In my experience (I’ve had 2 placed) they have you take Tylenol before. Personally, placement was uncomfortable but manageable. The worst part for me was the intense cramping that night. You should talk to your OBGYN about pain-control! Your comfort is priority during and after!
