If you’ve had a walking stick, Zimmer frame or crutches from Velindre but no longer need it, come and visit ‘Y Sied’ so we can recycle it!

This can help us decarbonise and make our services more sustainable 👍

Our Walking Aids Recycling Scheme aims to reduce waste by preventing walking aids being disposed of in landfill sites.

♻️ We've launched a new scheme to recycle hundreds of walking aids a year. We aim to recycle as many walking aids as possible.

That's why we're calling on patients to return the walking aids they no longer need so they can be refurbished for future use.

Our volunteers have been 'wheelie' busy on a new green infrastructure project at Velindre Cancer Centre! They have constructed panels out of Welsh timber, to create some green roof wheelie bin storage units, with the hopes of bringing an abundance of wildlife. @VelindreCC
