And we see top accounts subtly throwing jabs at him too. This man never declared for anyone. Even if he did, he’s within his right and fully backed by law.
Live and let live people.
Nigeria will be great again 🇳🇬🦾

This is abysmally low. wtf did this man said that warranted all this vitriol against him. Equating an issue of years ago to an advice to people not to die for politicians.
There’s always a new low for you people. Fuuckkk.

[PATRIOTIC SOJA ($TSIR-MUNCHAN) @Pressman2040]

🇳🇬🪖Let me say this as a soldier who has fought for every inch of this country.

Nigeria belongs to all of us.

I have served in the North. I have served in the South. I have served in the East. I have served in the West. I have bled in the bushes of Borno. I have walked the forests of the South West. I have stood at checkpoints in the South East. I have patrolled the creeks of the South-South.

And let me tell you what I have learned: The enemy does not care about your tribe. Boko Haram does not check your ethnicity before they kill you. Bandits do not ask where you are from before they kidnap you. ISWAP does not consult your dialect before they bomb you.

So while some people are busy calling Nigeria a "zoo" and dreaming of its collapse, I am in the bush with men from every tribe, every religion, every region. We eat together. We fight together. We bleed together. We die together. And we do it all for one thing: Nigeria.

You can disagree with how this country is run. You can demand better leadership. You can fight for justice and fairness. That is your right. But you cannot wish Nigeria d£@d. Because if Nigeria dies, we all die with it. There is no tribe that will survive alone. There is no region that will stand alone. We are one nation. For better or worse. Until the end.

To those who dream of Nigeria's collapse dream on. Nigeria is here to stay.
To those who call Nigeria a zoo the only zoo I see is the one in your mind.
To every Nigerian who believes in this country keep believing. Keep fighting. Keep building. Nigeria is bigger than any tribe. Bigger than any region. Bigger than any generation.

Nigeria belongs to all of us. And we will defend it. Together.

Stop making enemies because of politics.

Growing principle: I’ve learned to keep certain people at arm’s length, not because we disagree, but because of how they disagree. Manipulation, wilful ignorance and emotional blackmail are big red flags. If you can't disagree without guilt-tripping, we can’t be close.

Olu Maintain was not even pretending to be innocent with this one, The lyrics were questionable, but we knew every single word. The title alone already told you what Olu Maintain came to do. This song needed parental guidance, but nobody was skipping it😂😂😂🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

There’s a growing pattern on social media among some who present themselves as the pure “intellectual lovers of Nigeria.” In their framing, only their vision of how the country must work is valid. Disagree with their preferred leader or party, and you’re suddenly not just wrong, you’ve sold your soul, betrayed the nation, or proven yourself intellectually inferior with questionable characters. They position themselves as the sole custodians of seriousness, progress, and “unquestionable” success, as if the height you can reach in life must pass through their approval.

That mindset is narrow, and it needs to be called out. Life is bigger than any self-appointed intellectual gatekeepers of Nigeria. Nigeria is a democratic country. The right of citizens to associate with any group, party, or idea they choose is not a recent invention; it is as old as human society itself. People form alliances based on interests, values, experience, hope, calculation, or conviction. No amount of online gatekeeping, moral grandstanding, or intellectual posturing can erase that basic freedom.

Democracy is messy precisely because it allows multiple legitimate paths and preferences to coexist. Treating political disagreement as moral failure or intellectual death is not love of country, it is an attempt to shrink the public space to the size of one’s own certainty.

More importantly, life is not scripted according to any one group’s timeline or criteria. Success is not a commodity dispensed by self-appointed validators. Many people understand that the outcomes of their lives rest ultimately with God, not with trending opinions, social media verdicts, or the endorsement of any mortal clique. When your sense of direction and your source of validation sit higher than the noise, the pressure to perform intellectual purity for strangers loses its power. You are free to build, fail, learn, and succeed on terms that do not require their stamp.

The deeper goal is straightforward: to live a fulfilling life in which no one can later point and say “we made you" "we validate you". Real fulfilment does not come from fitting neatly into someone else’s approved narrative of patriotism or progress. It comes from honest effort, personal responsibility, relationships, work, and the quiet knowledge that your path was chosen, not assigned. Different people will reach different heights by different routes. Some will rise through politics, others through business, craft, community, faith, or quiet consistency. None of those paths require permission from a narrow circle that has decided it alone understands Nigeria.

People who truly care about the country can hold strong views without demanding that everyone else surrender their agency. Ideas can be debated vigorously. Leaders can be supported or opposed on substance. But the moment disagreement is treated as spiritual or intellectual treason, and the moment one group claims exclusive rights to define success and legitimacy, the conversation has left the realm of nation-building and entered the realm of control and oppression; which must be resisted by all means.

Nigeria will not be built by a single approved script. It will be shaped by millions of people exercising their freedom to think, associate, work, and believe, often in ways that frustrate and disappoint the self-appointed referees.

We’ve watched our grandparents’ generation gradually disappear,😳

and now we’re beginning to realise that our own time is passing faster than we imagined.

We’re no longer at the beginning of life. Apparently, we’re already halfway through the journey.

There’s really no defense for this. Due diligence wasn’t done.

People watched this video and be like “ he has clarified”.

Clarified what?

This is clearly a betrayal of trust by this government.

We were promised a coastal highway and we defended the project with the notion that it was indeed a coastal highway.

Taking about terrain, cost and completion as a legitimate excuse is pedestrian, lazy and disingenuous.

What are you invariably saying is that this government started the project with no plan and assessment.

There is a group of Nigerians for whom complaining about Nigeria is no longer a reaction. It is a daily habit, a group identity, and in some cases a personality. Morning, afternoon, and night, the script is the same. Nigeria is finished. Nothing works. Nothing has ever worked. The past was a disaster. The present is a disaster. The future is already written as a disaster. They do not see anything good about the country, and they do not say anything good about it either.

If a story is bad, it travels. If it is false but sounds bad enough, it travels faster. If it is good, it is ignored, doubted, or dismissed as propaganda.
This is not patriotism. It is not even serious criticism. Serious criticism names a problem and points toward a remedy. What many people now practise is something else: a standing refusal to admit that anything in this country can be useful, improvable, or worth defending.

Yes, Nigeria has problems. Governance has failed in too many places. Corruption has cost the country more than it can easily count. Infrastructure is uneven. Insecurity has destroyed lives and livelihoods. Public institutions often underperform. Anyone who pretends otherwise is not being honest. But a country is not only its failures. A country is also its people, its markets, its schools, its farms, its traders, its professionals, its diaspora remittances, its culture, and the millions who wake up every day and still produce something.

Rather than ask what can be done, the conversation ends at the curse. Leaders are insulted. Fellow citizens are mocked. Anyone who points to a working business, a skilled young person, a functioning local initiative, or a sector that is growing is treated as naïve or compromised. Fake news is forwarded because it confirms the feeling. Bad news is shared because it keeps the group together.

Meanwhile, other people in the same country are getting richer, not because the system suddenly became perfect, but because they stopped waiting for the complaint to become a plan. They learned a skill the market would pay for. They studied past the certificate. They built clientele. They traded. They farmed with better methods. They wrote, coded, taught, repaired, designed, exported, or offered a service people actually needed. They did not deny the difficulty. They priced it in and moved.

Opportunity in Nigeria has never been evenly distributed, and it has never been easy. That is not the same thing as saying opportunity does not exist. It exists in trades that are short of competent people. It exists in professions where reputation still beats noise. It exists in agriculture, logistics, education, health, technology, construction, media, and small manufacturing, for those willing to learn the work instead of only learning the grievance. The person who acquires a real skill and uses it well will usually outpace the person who has mastered only the language of national despair.

Patriotism, properly understood, is not blindness. It is not singing while the house burns. It is the decision to treat the country as yours enough to improve it, rather than as a stranger you are only permitted to abuse. You can criticise policy and still refuse to traffic in lies. You can demand better leadership and still refuse to curse every neighbour who is trying.

Why is there never a sentence about what is working, what can be learned, or what you yourself are building? Why is every conversation a funeral and every forward a curse? Acquire the skill. Get the education that changes your capacity, not just your caption.

Add value somewhere a buyer, a client, a student, a patient, or a community can feel it. Make an impact that survives the news cycle.
Nigeria will not be saved by a timeline of permanent pessimism. It will be moved, slowly and unevenly, by people who can see the cracks and still lay a brick. Complaining has had its turn. It has not built the road, trained the child, or paid the bills. Something else has to.
