@TimGue1 @CiaranOShea11 We have a couple of McCormick daughters too at 112 and 104 tonnes - the first one has never been treated for anything, I’ll need to check the other one. Couple cows by Oman son Mainstream Manifold not far behind.

@_lucywilliams_ We use the pasteurising version. Just feed whole milk, very simple to use, great calf health. We feed in batches of 10 using the H&L feed fence for buckets.
Not sure I would go back to powder. Don’t think there’s much between the H&L machine and the Urban version.

@tommywalsh1010 Is she genomicly tested or is it just on parent average? What is her mother like?
I think it’s important that we enjoy milking the cows we have - whether she’s typey, red and white or whatever - but healthy, fertile and productive with easy temperament certainly gains favour!

So @LidlGB and @MullerUKandI offer a fixed milk price to farmers of 29ppl when the average cost of production is 32ppl - to ‘gain long term financial certainty’ i.e. guarantee making a loss. #shameonlidl there is absolutely no reason why they couldn’t offer a fair price.
