It’s National Indigenous literacy Day Me & Jacki were invited to Leichard school in Ipswich to read our book grandfather Emu & how the kangaroo got her pouch our Aboriginal Kids were so happy to have us there & it was a great honour to spent time with them they are amazing Kids

This is the school I went too in the 1950’s and 1960,s we were not allowed to go to the town school because as Aboriginal People we lived under the Segregation Act
