I’ll be joined by my fellow firefighters to raise awareness of men’s health, cancer risks, mental health struggles, and workplace injuries that firefighters often face. Every donation makes a huge impact! https://t.co/x2MLUwO1Yx #movember2024#menshealth (6/6)
Recently, someone asked why I support #Movember and if it’s necessary to focus specifically on men’s health. They wondered if highlighting men’s health means placing it above women’s health. I appreciated the question because it opens up a valuable conversation. (1/6)
This year, I’m supporting #Movember with my team at the Shawnigan Lake Fire Department, running over 24km around Shawnigan Lake and passing each of our 3 fire stations along the way. (5/6)
It’s Mo time! I can’t grow a mo’, but I’m running 24km around Shawnigan Lake at the end of #Movember to support men’s health. Help keep the conversation going and save lives—please donate! 👉 https://t.co/x2MLUwO1Yx #menshealth#firstresponders#firefighter
My SLFD #Movember Run was yesterday. With 60 men dying from suicide every hour of every day, there’s no time to stand still. Donations help fund groundbreaking projects in mental health and suicide prevention. If you can help or want to learn more: https://t.co/x2MLUwO1Yx
We’re raising awareness and funds for men’s health all month long. If you’re in a position to help or would like more info, here’s a link to my Mo’ Space. Let’s work together to stop men from dying too young! https://t.co/fqhdpyA9Nr

I think my ‘stache is coming in quite nicely, don’t you? 😆
We’re 13 days into #Movember so I thought I’d share an update. I’ve raised $230 of my $500 goal and my Shawnigan Lake Fire Department team has raised $600 of our $3000 goal. 👊
