Trump just told Ohio he may not help them if they vote Democrat.
Read that slowly.
The President of the United States is threatening voters with less federal help if they choose the wrong party.
That’s not politics.
That’s a fucking protection racket.
Trump knows doing things like this can lead to death threats. He does it anyway and stokes the mob. He’s immoral and dangerous. And his Republican colleagues are silent.
Nice job by this crew. You blow a HUGE 3rd down call and then double down on it by penalizing Vrabel for using an F-Bomb.
What are we doing? GET OUT OF THE WAY.
Bill Vinovich slaps Mike Vrabel with an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty after Marcus Jones is called for defensive holding on third-and-16.
Tough call.
But can't put your team in a deeper hole as a result of it.
Trump: "We've gonna shove it up their ass ... They are a bunch of dumb son of a bitches"
Remember when presidents had dignity?
Here's a lowlight supercut from Trump's rally tonight in Ohio:
NEWS: I’m stepping down as host of All Things Considered and Sources & Methods.
25 yrs since I first set foot in this newsroom! I'll continue to contribute interviews; NPR remains a place where I can do the kind of work I came to journalism to do. Now, on to the next adventure.
Trump's TIME interview is wild. He can't stay on topic, can't stop rambling, can't stop lying about things that don't make any sense. The first question he gets is on AI safety, and he rambles about golf. He can't hear questions. Steven Cheung has to jump in to answer q's Trump can't. He tells the same stories over and over, but acts like they're new.
When he can't understand a question, his fallback is always just to talk more and blame Biden. He calls anything he doesn't like fake, touts numbers that don't exist, he says things like "Gavin Newsom can't read," and goes well over time just to ramble about the ballroom.
Near the end, he accuses the reporter of not asking him about Venezuela, then seems to forget they already talked about it, then goes back to yammering about the ballroom. He ends the interview by claiming the Secret Service wanted to tear the Oval Office down, and he stopped them. He's really not doing so well.
Anyone who reads Time's recent interview with Trump would clearly conclude that the biggest story on Earth, this day and every day, is that the President of the United States is seriously unwell and allowed to continue in office - unfit, untethered, and unchecked. Unbelievable.
A CNN investigation has found that while Jared Kushner acted as a key Middle East peace negotiator, his private equity firm held the largest stake in an Israeli company backing businesses tied to Israel's military campaign in Gaza, including its largest arms manufacturer. https://t.co/7YDbXcDx19
It's hilarious how Donald Trump is talking about "foregoing his $400,000 presidential salary" two days after he spent $1,700,000 of taxpayer money on personal political ads
Student journalists rock. Most people moved on from the 2024 report of a terrible rape at Cornell, but the @cornellsun wouldn't let go and pushed for accountability. https://t.co/p00Ui8OWXc by @emmabgo
Every single MAGA legislator in that hearing today predicted Jack Smith would plead the 5th. Not only did Jack Smith not plead the 5th, he answered every question, and he wiped the floor with that sleazy motherfucker Ted Cruz
WSJ Exclusive:
The Trump admin used federal funds from the Department of Homeland Security to finance those controversial pro-Trump ads that started airing on TV.
The taxpayer money used to fund the ads came from U.S. Customs and Border Protection. https://t.co/77aZN8whX7
Before calling someone a “dirtbag,” the Senator should have had his facts straight. An apology is in order.
Glad one of us knew the difference between the Atlanta Hawks and the Iowa Hawkeyes!
Jack Smith: "Our investigation developed proof beyond a reasonable doubt that President Trump engaged in serious crimes against our nation ... rather than accept his defeat in the 2020 presidential election, President Trump engaged in a criminal scheme to overturn the results and prevent the lawful transfer of power"
