Imane Khelif is not trans. It is ILLEGAL to be trans in Algeria. Khelif is a biological woman.
In Algeria, changing sex or gender is not allowed in official documents, nor are medical or hormonal treatments allowed to transition to another sex.
The IOC (International Olympic Committee) noted that Khelif was a woman biologically and also as stated on her passport and that there is not a "transgender issue".
#1 The US president has no control over Olympic rules.
#2 This woman is not “transgender”. She was born a woman and has always identified as a woman since birth.
#3 Stop spreading hate towards transgender people merely because you are angry about the Olympic rules that allow a woman to compete as a woman, in a woman’s sport.
Yes, a biological woman can have XY chromosomes due to certain genetic conditions. Stop being so ignorant and using this to attack trans people. Stop oversimplifying a complex situation.
I don’t know what the right move is here but ignorance and hate is not the solution.
K̓vi’aí (Kvai / Koeye) is where I learned how to be Haíɫzaqv.
I learned our language, songs, dances, núyṃ́ and learned how to harvest traditional foods and medicines.
A bonus was being able to sing, dance & Haíɫzaqvḷa in the big house.

This morning I was giving some instructions in English.
When I was done explaining:
Me - háiɫám̓ila qs q̓vṃ́xsiwak̓alai (enough of my speaking English)
Nuáqḷa to me - q̓íkvínáy̓aqvs (your way of lying)
