As someone actively involved in Health Management and passionate about healthcare transformation, it was meaningful to contribute to conversations shaping Lagos’ health response systems.
It’s one thing to work in health… it’s another to show up where real change begins.
From discussions on health access to strategies for emergency response, the session was a strong reminder that healthcare is not just about treatment — it’s about preparation, coordination, and people.
What’s your take? Have you experienced or witnessed gender bias like this? Or seen workplaces leading the way with progressive policies? Let’s have an honest conversation.
Let’s catch up on LinkedIn @rhodaolajire
This kind of thinking is not just outdated; it’s dangerous for workplace equality and diversity. It reduces women’s complex lives and abilities to a biological stereotype—ignoring the fact that women are just as capable, resilient, and professional as their male counterparts.
• Workplaces that embrace diversity and inclusion unlock innovation and success.
It’s 2025—time to evolve beyond stereotypes and champion equity in hiring. If we don’t talk about it, who will?
They recognize that menstruation can affect productivity and well-being—and instead of shaming or fearing it, they offer official support to women during their periods. It’s a real step forward in embracing understanding and accommodation.
During my research, I read about some companies in countries like Japan, South Korea, and parts of Europe that have actually introduced menstrual leave policies.
Add back pain, mood swings, cravings, and acting like everything is “normal.”
Shoutout to every woman showing up to work, class, business, and life - bleeding silently, pushing through, and STILL glowing.
Menstruation isn’t weakness. It’s survival mode.
March 28th, World Menstrual Hygiene Day,
we stand in solidarity with millions of girls and women who still face stigma, lack of access, and silence around menstruation.
Period cramps:
The silent war we fight every month with a smile on our face and a heating pad under our clothes
One minute we’re fine.
The next? It feels like our uterus is rehearsing for a boxing match.
Menstruation is not a weakness, not a shame, and not a barrier — it’s natural, powerful, and deserves safe, dignified care.
Let’s break the silence, promote access to menstrual products, and ensure health education reaches every corner - rural or urban.

As I sat down with Minister Tobi Special for the interview, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of awe at his remarkable story.
As we began to talk, He shared with me his journey of self-discovery and faith. He spoke about how he had always been passionate about music and ministry
The evening was filled with fascination and intense inspirations. All the invited guests minstrels ministered powerfully. What struck me most was the overwhelming sense of community and love that filled the Agege stadium.
It was an evening to remember for the entire Agege community and beyond! As the red carpet host for Agege Worship, convened by @iamdarewonder , I witnessed a spectacular event that united gospel music legends, comedians, and inspiring individuals from home and abroad.
