Also, the guests are almost always old, very successful comedians. You will be shocked to learn they feel somewhat persecuted and also that comedy simply cannot be taught, and that they are Really Special.
So my mom likes to watch Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee which means I also have to watch or listen to it if I want to be on the same floor.

Like over several episodes, he comes off as thin-skinned, incurious, huge ego, hacky, and afraid and dismissive of new things. Like he lives in a bubble and is just seeking people also in the bubble to confirm his grievances.
Last time I had a therapist I wrote up a 2 page google doc catching her up on my problems and asked her to read it before our first session. She did, and it saved a lot of time!
I think more than 2 pages would be unreasonable and if they say no you just have to roll with it.
i know all the valid reasons why this isn't possible or advisable but I still wish I could speedrun the first month of sessions with a new therapist via them just Googling me
