Florida politics has lost an icon —
Former House Speaker Ralph Haben, Jr., a distinguished attorney, statesman, and devoted family man, passed away peacefully this weekend surrounded by those who loved him.
Elected to the House in 1972, he rose to Speaker in 1980.

This week the Oklahoma Hospital Association (@ohaconnect) will be joined by @GriffinMedia in Tulsa for the statewide broadcast of the republican primary gubernatorial debate. OHA's We Care We Vote civic engagement project is the event sponsor and will be doing so through the runoff and general election debates. I hope Oklahomans will tune in on Thursday and vote next week. Early voting begins this Thursday.
Submit a question for the Oklahoma Governors debate.
We’re gathering all the Oklahoma gubernatorial candidates for a debate that will be hosted by Griffin Media Thursday, June 11 on all our sites and social platforms.
This comes less than a week before the Oklahoma Primary election happening Tuesday, June 16.
We will be gathering questions on all of our related debates posts, so make sure and leave a comment with what you would like to ask the next governor of Oklahoma.

For the second year in a row, Oklahoma City is one of the top two big cities in which to live!
This ranking would have been inconceivable in the 1980s and 1990s, but it reflects an intentional strategy we’ve deployed ever since those challenging years. Across three decades, our residents have passed 15 votes totaling $10 billion of investment in our quality of life. Now, we’re enjoying what happens when you invest in your city.
Enjoy this moment, OKC, and know that it’s not coming to an end anytime soon, because we have nearly $5 billion of that investment still rolling out over the next few years.

Yes, the Oklahoma House voted to repeal the constitutional right to healthcare in Oklahoma. Here is my op-ed that was published today.
Oklahomans voted to expand Medicaid. Don't try to undo that | Opinion https://t.co/G9wvjujLi3 via @theoklahoman_
Repealing the constitutional right to healthcare in Oklahoma does not support the 18,000 veterans in our state. Thank you Airman Veal for pointing that out.

Jimmy is correct. Eliminating or weakening Medicaid expansion in OK would impose a multibillion “sick tax” on those with insurance.

@UofOklahoma This is good news for the community. As a former resident of Tallahassee, FL, I saw a similar vision play out with Florida State University. Today the campus corner development is THE PLACE to be when visiting and recreating at FSU. We will all benefit from this development.
According to the March of Dimes, Oklahoma is a top performer nationally with respect to severe maternal morbidity, which refers to unexpected outcomes of labor and delivery that can result in significant short- or long-term health consequences.
