Our learners designed and built different circuits using the playdough they made yesterday! Some included motors/fans, switches, LED lightbulbs, and buzzers! They really let their creativity shine in our challenge task, as you can see below! @NRCSStem@NRCSRangers@OSLN
Making playdough for our Squishy Circuits we are designing and building tomorrow! Learning how important measurement is when cooking or making recipes! @NRCSStem@NRCSRangers
Polygon Sit Upons✅ Learners designed/built with their knowledge of measurement/angles/area &perimeter! Some learners even leveled up with bookbag straps & pockets.💜Problem Solving! Time to get outside and make our year in math memory books! @NRCSStem@NRCSRangers@OSLN
Wow! Way to make RHTA proud today 4th grade and @RHTAStem7! We collected over 33 lbs of trash at our Edgewater beach clean-up! Thank you @DrinkLocalTap for a wonderful day of authentic learning, fun, and wavemaking! @OSLN@NRCSStem@NRCSRangers
Thank you @ArtRhta for partnering with 4th grade on our timelines about recycling in Lorain County! In art Coach DiFranco worked with our 4th graders to create these UV printed tiles that will border the timeline we are developing! So cool! @NRCSStem@NRCSRangers@OSLN
Thank you Western Reserve Historical Society!!! Our learners gathered a lot of great research about different ways of displaying timelines and showing change over time! We cannot wait to start designing our interactive timeline display! @NRCSStem@NRCSRangers@OSLN
Thank you @RHTAGRADE8STEM for being a wonderful audience! Our 4th graders presented their Storyjumper Field Guides as their final products. These demonstrated all their evidence collected through our project on how we see change over time! Great work! @NRCSStem@NRCSRangers@OSLN
Thank you Drink Local Drink Tap for joining 4th grade to teach us the importance of fresh water and environmental advocacy! Our learners really appreciated having an expert to answer all of their awesome questions about access to water globally! @NRCSRangers@NRCSStem@OSLN

Thank you Professor Schmidt from Oberlin College for speaking with our learners yesterday! We learned so much about erosion, weathering, and flooding! However, our learners biggest takeaway was ANYONE can be a scientist!💜🙂 @NRCSRangers@NRCSStem@OSLN
Thank you for the outstanding Igloos to Adobe program from Peabody Museum, Harvard Museums of Science and Culture! Our learners can't wait to use this info on their final products for their Field Guides learning about evidence of change over time! @NRCSStem@NRCSRangers@OSLN
Thank you Rocky River Nature Center! We learned about local Native American history, collected pieces of shale/ shells, and checked out the shale cliffs from the top of the 155 step staircase! Those stairs were a challenge, but we conquered them!
@NRCSStem@NRCSRangers@OSLN
Still a work in progress, but check out their hard work coming together! They did a great job drilling all the screws to the display. It has been so fun watching the Engineering Design Process in action to see how they modify their project as they go! @NRCSStem@NRCSRangers@OSLN
It's that time of year again for our favorite project, Magic of Lights! Learners did a wonderful job measuring the template to start the outline of their selected design, a penguin! We paint tomorrow! Keep up your hard work, 4th grade learners! :) @NRCSStem@NRCSRangers@OSLN
Our learners had a fantastic time dancing, coding, and reading at our triathlon today! Thank you for all of your support with our schools triathlon fundraiser! 😀
Thank you Dr. Pruitt for speaking with our learners! We gathered a lot of great information about how archeologists and anthropologists use their findings to learn about the past! @NRCSStem@NRCSRangers@OSLN
School supplies and snacks are needed for the upcoming Fill the Bus Drive! Supplies needed include backpacks, folders, pencils, and glue sticks. Food items requested include easy-made mac and cheese, fruit cups, granola bars, and juice boxes. Your generosity is appreciated!
