South Africans will soon be the ones moving to Zimbabwe for jobs.

Zimbabwe's former ambassador to China, Christopher Mutsvangwa, makes the bold prediction. And he reckons his country’s rapid economic growth will reverse traditional migration flows between the nations within two years. 

He also claims many white Zimbabweans who left the country decades ago are returning, describing it as a show of confidence in the nation's economic future. Its GDP grew over 7% last year and is expected to grow up to 5% in 2026.
