โFollowing the various trainings and sessions conducted by RHU, our teachers integrated sexual and reproductive health topics into debate clubs, interact clubs, and other school activities.
This has greatly increased awareness, knowledge, and access to accurate information among students in our school. Through these platforms, learners are able to openly discuss important issues affecting their health and well-being, helping them make informed decisions and support their peers.โ

Happening Now: School administrators, teachers, and key district stakeholders including the DEO, DHO, and DCDO, in Hoima District are convening for a knowledge exchange and learning session to review progress, share experiences and lessons learned, and provide feedback on the implementation of the School Monitoring Tool for sexual and reproductive health in schools.
The session is also providing an opportunity to identify best practices, discuss challenges, and explore strategies for sustaining gains made in promoting adolescent health and well-being through the education system.

โThe National Guidelines on Health Education and Life Skills for Out-of-School Adolescents and Youth are an important resource that helps young people understand themselves, navigate adolescence, and make informed decisions about their health and well-being.
At RHU, we believe that access to accurate information is key to addressing misconceptions and empowering adolescents and youth. We are pleased to make these guidelines available and remain committed to supporting stakeholders to strengthen sexuality education and life skills programming both in and out of school.
We also encourage our partners in the education and gender sectors to utilize and share these materials widely to ensure that no young person is left behind.โ

Heroes donโt always wear capes. Some wear scrubs, counsel young people, deliver life-saving services, and stand up for health, dignity, and rights every day.
This Heroes Day, we celebrate the health workers, peer educators, volunteers, advocates, and communities whose dedication continues to transform lives across Uganda.
Happy Heroes Day!

World Environment Day | 5 June
A healthy environment is essential for healthy communities.
When climate-related disasters disrupt health facilities, displace families, or affect livelihoods, access to essential sexual and reproductive health services is often among the first things impacted.
This World Environment Day, we recognise that protecting our environment also means protecting health, dignity, and the right of every person to access the care they need.
Healthy Planet. Healthy People.

Men who recover from #Ebola should avoid sex for at least 6 months or use condoms consistently and correctly.
This is because the virus can stay in semen even after recovery.
