She gets prepped for the procedure. Goes in, and it doesn't take more than 20 minutes to get the call she's done.

Two Lillian stories for my memories, so buckle up.
Last week, an hour and a half past her bedtime, I wall by her room and here her proudly announce, "momma, I eated two monies."
Called a pediatric ED nurse, Lillian identified the "two monies" as a dime and a penny.
She sleeps. I do not.
They put an IV in at 6:00 am, then come back at 8:00 and say we're waiting for an OR room so they can just do an upper GI scope to assess any damage and, if it is still in her stomach, go ahead and fish this thing out.
Hooray. There is an end in sight.
Not 47 seconds after getting out of bed, Lillian asks, "momma, what we having for dinner?"
Then proceeds to look at the invisible watch on her arm as if checking the time and responds to herself:
"Mmm, probly cookies."

Every time I get a new pair of shoes, I look at them like, "dang, that's a big pair of shoes"...
Then I remember that I'm 5' 11" with big feet. And they aren't anything compared to my husband's.
I just forget we're big people.
It's very easy to decide to just stay in bed early in the morning, but BOY do I feel 10000% better when I just get out of bed and get my workout in before the sun is up and have the rest of the day to take care of responsibilities.
