@BenLaBolt@BernieSanders@JoeBiden If Bernie told me face-to-face to vote for Biden, I still wouldn't. I don't support Bernie, I support universal healthcare, universal higher education, a GND, and so on
@thelindsayellis@Hbomberguy I, for one, prefer the abject misery in my timeline. Better to lay it all out than pretend. That's just me, though, and I understand why some people prefer otherwise. But I appreciate hbomb's post.
Finished off the marathon yesterday with Suspiria (1977). Wow, what a trip. I don't know what I was expecting, but that was so much better than I anticipated.
And there's one part at the end that goes in my top 10 scares, for sure!
Horror movie marathon so far tonight:
Psycho (1960) - Anthony Perkins' performance was... wow!
The Terror (1963) - most gothicy gothic thing I've ever gothic'd
Final Curtain (1957, lost Ed Wood film) - lol, amazing
The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1920) - currently watching...
Biden needs well over ONE THOUSAND more delegates to cross the finish line. The current gap between him and Bernie is just 160.
This fight is only over if YOU think it's over.
@lisaedouard @KolyaShields @girlinseattle @lukeoneil47 I'll take someone who tried and failed over someone who hasn't tried at all. Bernie fights. The others kneel.
@lisaedouard @KolyaShields @girlinseattle @lukeoneil47 You know what's legion? Supporters of other Dems who'd rather people die in droves, or live in poverty, or exist under oppression, rather than hear a dirty word, or experience a little aggression. It's frankly revolting.
@LittlePidgey@FafnirFjolnis@DotDotDot_John When have we pioneered progressive ideas? One of the last to end slavery, apartheid, voting inequality. No workers rights, no health rights, no... nothin'. And never has been. We've been at the ass end of progress on nearly everything. What are you talking about?
@baconradar @Hbomberguy There's a lot of variation in quality, especially with subs of Japanese shows. I wish there was a way to complain... Or at least ask for a job as a proofer.
@MetaAdamJohnson @silversurfer223@BillCorbett@katewillett Yes, and that coaxing comes in the form of compromises. It's called negotiating. In business, politics, or just a friendly deal, if you start from your final position, you've screwed yourself and everyone depending on you. You have nowhere to go, but to lose.
@WillPowellArt I dont care much about the president's demeanor, and I don't care at all about their grammar. I care about their intent, integrity, and policies. You strip away demeanor and bad grammar, and there's small difference between Trump and most of the Dem noms.
@WillPowellArt 100% Bernie or Bust. I'll vote locally, and probably do a presidential write in, but that's it. It's not about being hard headed, it's about realizing the very real and serious danger the other candidates pose.
