Cardiff concerts the perfect example of how this will work. No fan would be put off by an extra couple of quid for an overnight stay, hundreds of thousands of pounds would be raised in addition to improve local facilities and services. Works everywhere else. Progress!

@MartinSLewis It's still excellent value for money. Not sure people recognise the breadth of what it produces nor the benefit in terms of skills etc. Has a huge positive impact on the quality of the industry as a whole.
