Some 10–15 years ago, it was still difficult, but a good number of international students secured jobs via graduate schemes with companies such as British Gas, British Telecom, Network Rail, Arup, Atkins etc. More recently, however, it has become common knowledge that most postgraduate degrees offer little chance of working in one's field. Instead, graduates often end up in support or care roles. If you still decide to go to the UK, you are opting for survival mode rather than career building.
