Fikile, you’ve spent years defending a government that has presided over rolling blackouts, collapsing infrastructure, rampant corruption, failing schools, soaring unemployment and one of the world’s highest violent crime rates. Spare us the lectures on patriotism.
Patriotism isn’t demanding that athletes keep quiet while politicians fail the country. Patriotism is wanting South Africa to be better.
Athletes wear the badge to represent 60 million South Africans, not to become mouthpieces for politicians. They don’t surrender their right to hold personal political views because they put on a national jersey.
If your biggest concern is what an athlete thinks instead of why so many South Africans are frustrated with political leadership, you’ve completely lost sight of what public service is supposed to be.
South Africa was "decolonized".
They raped and killed the white farmers keeping it running, many fled.
The EFF pushing white genocide.
Now they're setting fire to anyone who tries to work there.
Can't fix stupid.
News24 refuses to answer questions about its group’s recent R8 million donation to the ANC and why the company stopped publishing its financial statements in 2021.
@News24 editor @AdriaanBasson informed me this morning that they refuse to answer my questions on these matters. By contrast, @afriforum has transparently answered 79 questions that News24 recently put to me as part of its fishing expedition aimed at producing hit pieces on AfriForum. Their recent hit piece on us failed dismally, and they have now, apparently out of desperation, sent me another 26 questions. In the spirit of transparency, I will gladly answer these questions as soon as I receive answers to mine. 😀
News24’s determination to pursue this vendetta against AfriForum has already resulted in the publication having to apologise to AfriForum on numerous occasions for publishing false information about us. It seems these anti AfriForum activists at News24, posing as journalists, have learned nothing from these incidents. 😉
No, @AdriaanBasson and @News24, don’t lie to the @USAmbRSA. You know 81% of Afrikaners support @afriforum and @solidariteit. A scientific survey conducted by the reputable research company Ground Control Research shows that 81% of Afrikaners are positive about AfriForum and Solidarity. A further 13% tend toward neutrality by giving a score of five out of ten for their attitude toward AfriForum and Solidarity.
The result is significant, as the research was commissioned by the Betereinders, an organisation that is critical of AfriForum. It is also significant that a substantial portion of the sample was conducted among young people.
The result is, of course, an irritation for the small group of commentators, journalists and academics who falsely attempt to dismiss the support that AfriForum and Solidarity enjoy among Afrikaners as a fringe (2%) phenomenon. It is encouraging to know that the overwhelming majority of Afrikaners show their support for our #OnsSalSelf plans to help build a better present and future for Afrikaners, grounded in pride and self respect for who and what we are, and in mutual recognition and respect towards other cultural communities in the country.
Why isn't this all over the media ??? Positive help ??No because the media only publish negative stuff

Feroz Khan Fake Shooting
Now, you want to tell me that Feroz Khan was in critical condition.
Truly we don't have media in this country, @Abramjee, @pule_jones care to explain the ICU that you told us about
😭😭🤭
I always new he was scum, but people babbled about the DA being the only party big enough. People compromised their own morals to vote for this rubbish party. This is what @Our_DA is from top to bottom. Conservative hating trash
I don't think the @Our_DA realises what damage John Steenhuisen just did to their voter base with his @News24 Interview.
First, let's define the term "AfriMaga", considering John, with the help of Ryan Coetzee, coined the term.
In John's own words, "Afrimaga" are people who support the following organisations and who are conservative:
- Afriforum (300,000 members)
- Solidariteit (200,000 members)
- Sakeliga (Represents 12,000 businesses)
- SAAI (6000+ members)
So, according to John, if you support any of the above-mentioned organisations OR are conservative (right-wing), then John believes you don't share the DA's values and principles, as you are "AfriMaga" supporters.
He even goes further to say that some of you are "racists" and are the people who voted "NO" in the referendum.
I can say comfortably that John just directly insulted more than two million people who have in the past voted for the DA and would have potentially voted for them again.
He also says all of the above as the DA welcomes Cllrs from the ANC/EFF/MK into their party and deploys them as councillors. So communists and socialists are welcome in the DA, but not conservative people who support organisations like Afriforum and Solidariteit.
Don't believe me that this is what he said? Watch the video, and if you think I snipped this out of context, you can find it at the 34 minute mark of the original News24 video.
Steenhuisen promised me many things and said he had my back.
It stings when promises are broken, I know.
But going the news24 and whining is a terrible strategy.
🆘 Another death threat today, sent to my husband via WhatsApp: Cropped audio attached (family details removed for safety). The sender knew our personal family movements and locations.
How else is this to be interpreted? Especially in the current climate and the violence, intimidation and threats we have already faced.
We are in immediate danger in South Africa. 🇿🇦
