to any armys not deleting lastfm out of nostalgia, lastfm was aiming to align their update with arirang’s release and made it clear they deeply resent seeing “bts/bts adjacent artists” on their lists. your continued use of that app will only be used against you and your artist.
Some people mentioned yesterday that the sp*m filter on AOTY has been removed, but I think it's still active on my account. The key point here to increase the score is that our account must be older than one month.

👉🏻 The second video shows how to rate tracks, which is now open to everyone. To avoid being flagged as a 🤖, you should give scores specifically between 70-95. if you give a 100 directly, it will be deleted.

Body to Body single handedly wins the narrative battle for carrying the main textual content for Album Of The Year. i was reading The Odyssey by Homer today, and i couldn’t stop thinking about the opening track of the album ↓
Just as Odysseus spends a decade fighting to return to Ithaca, refusing the immortality offered by Calypso; BTS used Body to Body to plant their flag back in their cultural home after global military enlistment and hiatus.
In Homer’s The Odyssey, nostos is not merely the physical act of traveling home; it is an arduous psychological and spiritual battle to reclaim one's rightful identity, sovereignty, and legacy after prolonged exile.
I compared it to BTS's Body to Body from the ARIRANG album, this framework reveals a profound parallel between Odysseus's epic journey and the group’s return to their musical and cultural roots.
Ithaca is Odysseus's north star. It is a rugged, harsh island, but it is uniquely his. His entire identity is tied to its soil, his family, and his duties as king. The foundational sample of the traditional folk song Arirang acts as the musical Ithaca. ‘Arirang’ is Korea's unofficial anthem of resilience, separation, and reunion.
Upon returning to Ithaca, Odysseus finds his home overrun by suitors trying to usurp his place. He must strip away his disguises, endure physical trials, and string his old bow to reclaim his throne. similarly, Returning from a mandatory military enlistment and extended hiatus, BTS steps back into a shifting music industry. B2B serves as their trial of reclamation. They assert that their time away did not weaken their bond to their heritage or their dominance over their musical kingdom.
reason why i said it wins narrative is b/c this isn’t the only time i related this track to a chapter of homecoming. its become a universal human experiences of a long, painful separation, a subsequent “rebirth,” and the eventual joy of a grand reunion.
