And also remember that showing remorse or regret during a trial is a big factor in determining sentences. Women tend to show remorse and/or regret more often than men, which is why women tend to have shorter sentences

"Boys will be boys" and "just a girl" are both harmful, I completely agree. But you cannot say that women do not take accountability. They are forced to, even when its not their place.
