As a child what I hated the most about the eye pulling slur was that I didn't have a cool come back response. So when I learned about the story behind Naito's famous pose, I was so moved. He is forever one of my heroes for resolving my childhood conundrum.

I think the reason why I still write to this day is because my mother, who knew me very very well growing up, told me that she loved what I wrote. And I believed her. I think that's something I will do as well as a mother. Love my child and tell them I love them.
