When I watched former #Sixer Jared McCain step up for OKC in the western conference finals last night & help them win the game 123-108 in San Antonio with 24-4-1 in 26 minutes I felt happy for him but sick that the @Sixers traded him for future assets. No wonder Morey got fired!

#Sixers are a better team than their 2025-26 season record would indicate. They were without @JoelEmbiid for 44 games & without Paul George for 45 games. They still managed to make the playoffs & lock in the 7th seed in the East. Hopefully they can win a game 7 in Boston tonight!

Kudos to the #Sixers & @JoelEmbiid on a big character win in Boston to get the series to 3-2 coming back to Philly Thursday night. Embiid dominates the low post and midrange & should stay there. Shaq was absolutely right! Also Grimes was awesome & must start with KO off the bench

The #Celtics dominated this game from 3 and shot 20/47 (43%) for 60 points. By comparison our #Sixers only shot 12/35 (34%) for 36 points. In spite of the 24 point differential the #Sixers were in the game until the last couple of minutes and only lost by 8 points. Great effort!

If you’re feeling down about our #Phillies 10 game losing streak it’s not the worst in their history. In 1961 they lost 23 games in a row which is the “modern day” MLB record! #RingTheBell

While it’s early there are already not any undefeated teams left in MLB. Every team in the NL East is 3-1 except for the #Phillies who are 1-3. Let’s hope the small sample size is not indicative of a greater trend or we may be in for a losing season! Is 80-82 even a possibility?

@MikeLederer The big unknown is the growth and development and of the new guys like Justin Crawford, Andrew Painter, and Adolis Garcia. The new guys in the bullpen will have a big impact too. The division is also tougher than last year!

Would love to see the Sacramento #Kings buyout DeMar DeRozan & the #Sixers pick him up for the remainder of the season. He can be another veteran scorer with an incredible midrange game who would help the younger guys in the playoffs. Would also be reunited with Lowry and Nurse!

Happy 100th Birthday today to comedic genius and legendary actor Dick Van Dyke. I grew up watching him as Rob Petrie on The Dick Van Dyke Show and continue to watch him as Bert in Mary Poppins with my grandson. Thanks for the incredible memories and may you always “Step In Time!”
