🧑🏻🦱: Your family owns a business. You also have siblings. What do you think you picked up from growing up in a business family?
🐰: I think it’s something that was instilled in me from a young age. After school, I would go and stay at my dad’s factory and hang around there. When we had conversations, or even when we were talking in the car, my dad would talk about business; doing this and selling that, doing that and selling this. 😄 So I think it gradually flowed into me from a young age.
I studied and graduated in Economics, so it’s a numbers-oriented field. But actually, I wanted to study Architecture.🥺
🧑🏻🦱: No wonder you’re so into design.
🐰: At that time, I took drawing classes and studied how to prepare for the architecture entrance exam. But eventually, my dad thought it would be better for me to study Economics because I’d probably graduate and be able to manage the business or something. From his perspective, I think he might have thought that I would eventually take over his business. If I went into Architecture, I probably wouldn’t come back to him anymore. I think he might have seen it that way.🥺
🧑🏻🦱: Plus, you’re the son too, right? So he might have wanted you to come and help manage the business instead.
🐰: Yes. And because my sisters, the eldest one studied Food Science, which is the field she really likes. She likes making pastries. The second sister studied something related to innovation. 😊
