When I retired from teaching four years ago, my principal was begging me to stay because we were already in the middle of a teacher shortage.
That same year, at least 30 of us left teaching altogether.
Thirty teachers gone.
We were told there wasn’t enough money to give teachers a raise, but somehow there was enough money to hire more than 40 new people in central office—every one of those positions paying more than the teachers in the classroom.
Make that make sense.
Twice, at two different schools, I was encouraged to go back and get my master’s in educational leadership so I could become an assistant principal.
I declined both times.
My heart was never in climbing the administrative ladder. My heart was in the classroom with my students. That was where I belonged, and I knew it.
The problem is not that good teachers don’t exist. The problem is that central offices have become bloated bureaucracies built around higher salaries, unnecessary positions and, far too often, the good ol’ boy system.
They keep adding people at the top while taking more away from the teachers doing the actual work.
Then they look around and ask why nobody wants to teach anymore.
They know why.
They just don’t want to admit it.
Let me get this straight.
When Maduro gave oil to the Cuban dictator for free, sold it to China at $20 below Brent, handed it free to Rosneft to pay debts, and let $21 billion go uncollected. That was "sovereignty."
Now, a $100 billion investment and a 30% royalty that will benefit Venezuelan citizens for the first time in decades, is considered "stealing."
Fascinating.

TRUMP JUST REPOSTED JFK’S MOST TERRIFYING SPEECH — AND THE DEEP STATE IS PANICKING
JFK saw it coming. In 1961. And now, Trump has just made sure 300 million Americans see it, too.

Watch the media freeze when five Milwaukee USB sticks with election results go missing at midnight.
Then remember the bigger picture.
Day after day after day we get more proof that election integrity in America is broken.
Delayed results.
Missing data.
Chain-of-custody failures.
Rules that change when it’s convenient.
There is almost nobody left in real America who still trusts the word of Democratic politicians in the D.C. swamp on this issue.
The only people still pretending everything is fine are the ones protecting the current system.
That is exactly why the SAVE America Act must pass.
Basic citizenship verification.
Cleaner rolls.
Real accountability.
We have watched the same problems repeat for years.
How many more examples do we need before Congress finally acts?

Regarding @POTUS switching planes recently, and NOT telling the PRESS about it. The PRESS in the UNITED STATES right now has ZERO interest in ensuring the President of the United States is safe from harm. Not ONE PRESS PERSON would have kept their mouth shut had they been told that they were flying on a 747 that was not designated as AF1 leaving a foreign country.
They aren't happy that TRUMP has additional security and they keep enflaming the public with ANTI AMERICAN rhetoric towards him that puts his life in more danger than safety. So keep on whining about what his team does to ensure he gets around the world safely. If you're that concerned about being near him at events such as this and flying as part of the press pool...QUIT YOUR JOB, or just do it better.
You weren't told he wasn't on the plane, because YOU WOULD HAVE LEAKED IT to the world basically painting a massive bullseye on the side of that plane and endangering the lives of everyone on it.
PROVE ME WRONG ASSHOLES!!! I DARE YOU.

Girl, stop.
You posted that right after getting ejected for a flagrant 2 on Sophie Cunningham.
Nobody assumed shit. You said it.
