Building The Froki Signal ๐ก
@shirshakchavan@X For now Iโm validating the idea of AI+intent data. Every week Iโm posting a newsletter on substack. And posting what Iโve learned on @x what about you?
Day 7.
Published edition #02 of The Froki Signal today.
Went in expecting to find AI companies. None of the three companies sells technology, and all three are building AI systems in-house right now.

2 editions in. Still early.

Edition #02 is out. A law firm, a $13B biotech and a publisher none of them tech companies, all three building AI in-house.
Second week publishing. Still figuring out whether anyone wants this.

Day 6
Weekend spent on edition #02 of The Froki Signal. ~30 job posts scanned, 3 made the cut.
What I'm learning: the tech stack in a job post tells you almost nothing. The gap between what a company announced publicly and who they actually hired to do it tells you everything

Day 6 of The Froki Signal:
Spent the weekend on edition #02. Went through ~30 job posts to find 3 worth publishing.
Biggest lesson so far: the best signal isn't the stack they list. It's the gap between what a company announced publicly and who they actually hired to do it.
Last week's edition: a $75B PE firm hiring its first Director of AI, a holding company that wrote "find suitable contractors" in the job post, and a $370B financial firm building RAG.

Edition #02 drops tomorrow.
Day 2.
Sent cold emails to AI agency founders. Not selling โ just asking if the signals I find are actually useful to them.
Better to know now than after building for 3 months.
