💕 The heartbeat that unites the world: The IOC has launched the first sonic signature for the Olympic rings, created from the heartbeats of athletes and fans.

💙 🖤 ❤️ 💛 💚

The signature transforms the emotion and human connection of the Olympics into a unifying heartbeat sound accompanied by pulsating Olympic rings.

It is inspired by the idea that, when people watch events, like the Olympic Games, together, their heartbeats synchronise. Hundreds of real heartbeats from across the Olympic Movement were recorded to create the sound, including those of Olympic champions @Abhinav_Bindra (shooting, India), @AliBrownleetri (triathlon, Great Britain), @allysonfelix (athletics, USA), @jessfoxcanoe (canoe slalom, Australia) and @martinfkde (biathlon, France).

📌 Beautiful artwork! Exactly 70 years after the Opening Ceremony of the Cortina d’Ampezzo 1956 Winter Olympics and on the day when the Olympic Torch Relay passed through Cortina d’Ampezzo, a stunning new “Anniversary 1956–2026” poster was unveiled.

It is part of the poster collection of the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games and was created by Italian artist Pierpaolo Rovero.
