I don't really like commenting on something like this because it shouldn't really be a thing people care much about, but the proposed community notes are claiming absurd things to try and pretend it isn't real.

I use https://t.co/DyfAkhZ7bX all the time. It archives the source page without modification at the time the archival process is initiated. It absolutely cannot be fooled by inspect-element, which affects nothing but the client side data on your computer.

These archives were taken when Ironmouse was in vShojo and had her name and profile branded as Ironmouse. These archives were created before she deleted all tweets associated with her past life from that account, but while she had vShojo branding. That's why they show her vShojo branding. Like many vtubers, Ironmouse committed a very basic opsec failure by converting an IRL profile with compromising personal information to a branded vtuber account without first purging said information.

Like it or not, the tweets are real. They are absolutely impossible to fake in this manner. To do so you would need to have direct access to https://t.co/DyfAkhZ7bX's master database and edit the records maliciously, something that has never happened even once in the entire history of the service - which is exactly why it is THE gold standard for archiving.

I should also note that years ago when footage of the Ironmouse interview first surfaced, my site received threatening legal messages demanding it be taken down. I replied that TVA does not comply with such requests without appropriate documentation and demanded they supply proof of credentials before taking their request seriously. This request was never answered.

Anyone claiming these tweets are fake is either intentionally lying to try and mislead you, or is woefully misinformed about how archiving works in general. It is not just unlikely they are fake, it is functionally *impossible* to fake them, and all the proof that they are real is contained within the supplied links.

This whole situation is quite ridiculous. The fact Ironmouse had a child was an open secret for years. It was casually discussed among fans at conventions and treated as a 'weird but who cares' kind of thing. The ONLY REASON it is getting all this attention is because Ironmouse fans who are willfully in denial are Streisand Effecting it into a massive controversy.

Congratulations, idiots, you played yourselves.

Also maybe it would help if she didn't willingly associate with people who torture animals on stream and call for innocents to be murdered by violent terrorists. Just a thought.
