Secondo me è ottima da specifiche tecniche.
@ErlansonEvan @Jukanlosreve American media said that YMTC was under bankruptcy years ago (2022-2023 IIRC) and it has been on the Entity List for years. They just started their 3rd phase planning to build a new fab with almost a 3 billion capital, I think they are far away from bankruptcy.
@Jukanlosreve I'm not sure about the 13% of market share by YMTC, it would means that YMTC is more or less on the same level as Micron and Kioxia. Also, DigiTime said multiple times that their market share is about 8%...
Not even sure about 500K raw wpm production.
@mayorhardin@vikramskr 45μs is not the program time (tPROG) but it's the read time of a page. The estimate tPROG of Samsung V8 is about 390μs according to TPU's DB: https://t.co/qTCCzouslc.
@RehanYawar84469 @Jukanlosreve It’s actually more complicated than this. In terms of technology advancements I’d say that the ones ahead are Kioxia and SK hynix (SK hynix especially for FeNAND) than YMTC and Samsung and Micron.
@RehanYawar84469 @Jukanlosreve They started the mass production of V9 QLC last year but as written in the article they are having problems. And no, V9 flash (both TLC and QLC) is not used in Gen5 SSD. It’s not used at all.
@sshimomu2k2@omercheema @Jukanlosreve Are you sure? There's a huge difference between NAND flash and DRAM in terms of speed and we have never been able to boost NAND flash's speed to the same level as DRAM without developing a new kind of memory (and even in that case the speed wasn't the same as DRAM).
@folduniverse @Jukanlosreve China is trying to dominate every sector selling products with a very low price with low/negative profits, and that's funny because it's unthinkable something like this with private manufacturers.
