In the last months I haven't posted anything here and have slightly shifted priorities, I had built some nice connections however took my eye off the ball slightly.

Photoshop Practice😮‍💨😮‍💨

Practiced some photoshop skills. I’m still a video editor but just tryna improve my skill set😂

Some of the techniques used I knew but it’s also about learning new ideas and designs.

I’m excited to see how doing these overtime will help me improve my ideas.

In both editing and photoshop.

@OctavianEdits Type out the word, convert to smart object, warp it to the shape, create a layer mask with the shape (or image), then use the brush tool to paint back in parts of the original image you want.

Gladiator II was great

Watched it and loved it despite the negative press around it.

This isn’t a letterbox review so I’ll just keep to what editor me appreciated.

-The grading🤩

People don’t like the sunlight being toned down but personally I don’t mind it and I quite liked the warm grading used.

The black and white scene also had a visual appeal to me as well.

-Pacing💨

The pacing was GOOD. The pacing was well done with the length of scenes and the rise and dip in tension.

I believe the writing was what slightly hampered the story imo.

The editors done quite well putting together the scenes for what they had.

-Denzel Washington😮‍💨

His character was great and his deliver even better.

In fact his story was more intriguing to me. The plot of seeing him rise to power would’ve been a great movie in itself I reckon.

Overall, it’s not better than the first but it’s worth the watch.
