DJ Akademiks shut down Ceddy Nash's optimistic take that Lil Durk could walk home before any of the snitches in his case 😭💀
Ceddy claimed the feds don't have concrete evidence outside of stalking Quando Rondo, but Akademiks laid out a direct reality check: "The justice system doesn't work that way, the snitches always get rewarded." 😭
He literally offered to put money on the line, arguing it makes zero sense for cooperating witnesses to take a plea deal only to do more time than the main target 💀
EST GEE CALLED IT. 🎯
Before the verdict. Before everybody knew how this was going to end. EST Gee sat down with Loon and said he had actually SPOKEN TO LIL DURK — and he believed Durk was going to beat this case.
He wasn’t talking from the internet. He wasn’t watching clips and guessing. He had a conversation with the man himself.
Now go back and watch this clip after everything we just watched play out.
This wasn’t some lightweight case either. Durk was fighting five federal charges tied to the alleged 2022 murder-for-hire plot against Quando Rondo that left Saviay’a “Lul Pab” Robinson dead. Prosecutors leaned heavily on cooperating witnesses and their theory that Durk financed revenge; his defense attacked those witnesses’ credibility and argued the government had not proved Durk ordered the killing. Even during deliberations, jurors came back asking questions about intent, conspiracy, conspirators and overt acts. (The New York Times)
EST GEE SAID DURK WAS GONNA BEAT IT.
HE WAS RIGHT. 🎯

This one hits DIFFERENT today.
Lil Durk has been found not guilty on all charges in connection with the 2022 killing of Quando Rondo's cousin, Saviay’a "Lul Pab" Robinson.
On Friday (Sept. 11), following a nearly three-week trial and three days deliberating, the jury delivered the verdict on charges of conspiracy to commit stalking; stalking Quando Rondo using a dangerous weapon; stalking Saviay’a "Lul Pab" Robinson resulting in death; conspiracy to use interstate commerce facilities in a murder-for-hire resulting in Pab's death; and using interstate commerce facilities in a murder-for-hire resulting in Pab's death.
The jury acquitted Durk, born Durk Banks, on each count he was charged with. His codefendants DeAndre Wilson and David Lindsey have been found guilty of stalking and stalking conspiracy but acquitted of murder-for-hire, according to legal affairs journalist Meghann Cuniff, who has been covering the case. As the verdict was delivered, Durk began crying, Rolling Stone's Nancy Dillon reports.
The decision did not come without some suspense. On Tuesday (Sept. 9), the jury sent a note to the judge, in which they asked for all the evidence in digital form, according to journalist Meghann Cuniff. There was also a matter of the prosecution playing a portion of a Lil Durk and DJ Akademiks interview during closing arguments and Durk's defense unsuccessfully arguing that they should also be allowed to play portions of the interview for context.
Durk came out victorious, despite the prosecution's case being aided by testimony from former Lil Durk associates Kevon "OTF Vonnie" Grant, Kacey "OTF Jam" Hester and Keith Jones. All three men took the stand and admitted to being involved in stalking Quando and Robinson's murder. They named Durk as the mastermind behind the killing, which the feds insisted was retaliation for the 2020 death of King Von, who was shot and killed by Quando Rondo associate Timothy "Lul Timm" Leeks.
This is not the end of Durk's legal issues. He will not be freed because he could face a second federal trial for murder in aid of racketeering in connection with the 2022 killing of Stephon Mack.
XXL has reached out to Lil Durk's attorney for comment.
Lil Durk co-defendant OTF DeDe found guilty on 4 counts, including stalking Quando Rondo and Lul Pab — not guilty on interstate commerce-related charges 👀⚖️
Emotions were HIGH in the courtroom with all defendants. Before the verdict was read, Lil Durk was smiling with Drew Findling, but clearly anxious: @LAmag
🚨In the #Durk case the prosecutors tried to say that #Otf Deeski was calling hisself the “Murda man” but they were actually talkin bout a nigga named “Murda man” that sells weed which is the nigga with the mask sitting next to OTF Jam. Because of this mistake OTF Dee Dee’s lawyer could ask for a mistrial
BREAKING: Lil Durk has been FOUND NOT GUILTY in the murder-for-hire case involving Quando Rondo’s cousin, Lul Pab😳🚨
OTF members Jam, Vonni, DeDe & others were tied to the case, with OTF Jam and OTF Vonni becoming KEY witnesses against Durk🤯
