@2wheelsgoodBrum @adamtranter I disagree slightly on this. It offered a calmer onroad route to the town centre from Town Gate. At the moment we just use the pavement with the kids as navigating via Park Road is v. dangerous (as proven). Granted it was short and not that well joined up, it did have its merits.

The lane reduction and vertical visual segregation would have made this road a lot tamer.
