For me it’s intriguing how so many from Bihar went all the way to Pakistan ( including Imtiaz Ali’s mamu) I discovered this only when I moved to Dubai and met people who had roots in Bihar.
Migration via current Bangladesh in 70s is one migration type. Not sure if and how did it happen during partition.
