I'm retired and married. An independent thinker, a classical liberal now considered a far right MAGA extremist by democrats.

Elon Musk explains how Tesla’s Cybercab fleet will work:
“Think of Tesla like some combination of Airbnb and Uber. There’ll be some number of cars that Tesla owns itself and operates in the fleet, and then there’ll be a bunch of cars owned by the end user.
That end user can add or subtract their car from the fleet whenever they want. They can decide if they only want the car to be used by friends and family, by five-star users, or by anyone at any time.
They could have the car come back to them and be exclusively theirs, like an Airbnb. You could rent out your guest room or not anytime you want.”
Drove my wife to a medical appointment yesterday. Left at 2 for a 3pm call. I allow an hour to go 5 miles in city traffic. During that time I shared the road with multiple electric bikes and one wheelers (no tags), highly impaired pedestrians staggering in and out of traffic, and other hazards. Very stressful.
I can't wait to buy a cyber cab. At least we will arrive less frazzled...
Lots of big home improvement projects going on in residences around me. Big jobs, truckloads of gravel, another place took in about a dozen I-beams, loaded in with a forklift. Demolition debris being loaded out.
I don't mind but it ties up traffic...
My automatic garage door would close and then seconds later would reopen. The missus discovered this.
I quickly fixed it, but I didn't tell her the problem was cobwebs covering the laser lens, which I brushed off with a broom.
She thinks I'm a genius.
@MonoNeon I'm intrigued not so much by the left handed technique (plenty of examples of that) but by the reversal of the order of strings, from high to low. Wild stuff.
