as incoming president, I strongly oppose the decision by KIU to sue our elder & respected friend Mr Spire, wat he did was not harmful it was constructive, in leadership & growth, we call this a SWOT analysis, listening to feedback, acknowledging both praise & criticism & using it to improve

this platform serves as a modern suggestion box, people express their experiences, concerns & ideas here coz they want to see institutions grow & do better, silencing such voices through legal action discourages honest feedback & weakens the relationship between the university & the community it serves, unless if they didn’t read the comments under his posts

we may not always walk into offices to submit complaints formally, but that does not make our voices any less valid, social platforms have become spaces for engagement, accountability & improvement ( modern suggestion box)

KIU is an institution we respect & appreciate, that is exactly why we encourage u to listen, reflect & evolve, true strength lies in the ability to accept criticism & turn it into progress
