Richard Kitty

Hi, I'm Richard. When I was 2, I was adopted from a shelter in LA County. #AdoptDontShop Adopt adult animals 😻

[Maya Aoki Tuttle @mayatuttle]

We would never have found him if we hadn’t been searching for Richard. With Richard’s food and things, we nursed this new guy back to health. Now he’s a healthy weight, immunized, fixed. He’s incredibly sweet. So this was Richard’s final gift to us. My kiddo named him Georgie 💜

[Maya Aoki Tuttle @mayatuttle]

On the awful day we were searching for our escaped cat Richard (and later discovered he had passed), we accidentally found a different cat trapped in a shed down the street. He was emaciated (see photo from the day we found him). The vet said this guy was not neutered or chipped

We did a little video about adoption a while back. This is Richard’s story 💜 narrated by me.

We took this photo on Christmas. He’s an indoor cat, but a door was left open and he got out last night. He was killed by a coyote on our lawn. I’m so sorry, Richard.

My good boy Richard passed away today. I adopted him when he was 2 from the Downey Shelter for $10. They said if no one adopted him, he would be put down that week. He spent the next 12 years with me. I will miss my odd-eyed boy. 💜
