Today is World Cancer Research Day, recognizing the discoveries driving progress in #cancer care. Across SOTIO’s ADC platform, one focus of our research has been expanding the therapeutic window of these therapies.

The therapeutic window is the dose range of a medicine that provides effective therapy and avoids serious side effects. A wider therapeutic window means more flexibility in dosing and a larger safety margin.

Our research aims to expand our ADC candidates’ therapeutic windows by innovating in target identification, linker technology, and antibody design – with the end goal of creating safe and effective therapies for cancer types with very few treatment options today.

Another success in our #ADC pipeline! Congratulations and thank you to all @SOTIO colleagues involved. 👍 Osteosarcoma and soft tissue sarcomas remain an area of high unmet medical need, and every step toward new treatment options matters for patients and their families.

[SOTIO @SOTIO]

SOT106 has received two additional designations from @FDA: Orphan Drug Designation for #SoftTissueSarcoma and Fast Track Designation for #Osteosarcoma.
Our potentially best-in-class investigational ADC targeting LRRC15 now holds both designations for both primary types of sarcoma. With a first-in-human clinical trial expected to begin later this year, SOTIO is advancing development of SOT106 with the hope of delivering a targeted therapy with benefit across sarcoma subtypes. Next week, we will be at the ADC Symposium here in our home city of Prague. Zuzana Antošová, Director, Bioanalysis & Pharmacokinetics, will deliver an oral presentation exploring how ADC stability and species-specific biology influence pharmacokinetics, safety, and the translation of preclinical findings into human PK prediction. We look forward to joining colleagues in conversations at the cutting edge of ADC drug development!

Congratulations to the entire @SOTIO team on reaching this important milestone!

SOT109 is the only CDH17 ADC with Fast Track Designation from the U.S. @FDA. ADCs use targeted approach aiming to maximize the effect on tumors while limiting impact on healthy tissues.

[SOTIO @SOTIO]

Today we announced that the first patient has been dosed in our Phase 1/2 CADENCIA-01 study evaluating SOT109, a next-generation antibody-drug conjugate (#ADC) targeting cadherin-17 (CDH17) for the treatment of colorectal cancer. This milestone reflects our continued commitment to advancing innovative therapies with the potential to expand treatment options and improve outcomes for people living with CRC and other GI cancers. [SOTIO @SOTIO]

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (@FDA ) has accepted our investigational new drug (IND) application for SOT106, enabling a first-in-human Phase 1/2 trial in patients with #osteosarcoma and soft tissue sarcoma. SOT106 is an investigational antibody-drug conjugate (#ADC) targeting LRRC15, a clinically validated target broadly expressed across multiple highly prevalent #sarcoma subtypes. Sarcomas are a diverse group of cancers with limited targeted treatment options, and this milestone moves a potential best-in-class therapy one step closer to patients with sarcoma and other LRRC15-positive malignancies. We look forward to sharing additional updates as SOT106 advances into clinical development.

Proud to see our Chief Scientific Officer, Amy Jensen-Smith, featured in @bizwomenreports' "In Her Own Words" series. In the essay, Amy reflects on the pivotal moment that set her on the path to cancer drug development, reflects on her journey from bench scientist to Chief Scientific Officer, and explains why the greatest challenges within the solid tumor treatment paradigm remain her biggest motivation. From helping bring CAR-T therapies from early breakthroughs to approved treatments, Amy now leads the advancement of our ADC pipeline, advancing a portfolio of antibody-drug conjugates for the treatment of various solid tumors. Her scientific leadership shapes how we pursue better options for the patients who need them most. Read her story: https://t.co/WvGfiKWJGz

Today we announced the @EPOorg Boards of Appeal have upheld European Patent EP 3 444 271 B1, confirming intellectual property protection for SOT201, our next-generation PD-1-targeting immunocytokine. SOT201 is currently being evaluated in our Phase 1 VICTORIA-01 study in patients with advanced solid tumors. This decision reinforces the strength of SOT201 as it continues to show a high disease control rate, including objective responses in heavily pre-treated cancer patients. @Meltwater "Meltwater does not work" After 15yrs as
@Meltwater customer, I have to say the past year has been shocking—core functionality repeatedly failing and no effective resolution, support unresponsive. Can anyone recommend a better, reliable alternative?

[Richard Kapsa @RichardKapsa]

#Sarcoma is a rare and highly aggressive cancer with very limited treatment options available today. At @SOTIO, we are committed to changing that.

[SOTIO @SOTIO]

July is #SarcomaAwarenessMonth, dedicated to recognizing the impact of these rare and complex cancers. At SOTIO, we’re rapidly advancing our investigational antibody-drug conjugate SOT106 with plans to enter the clinic later this year. SOT106 recently received Orphan Drug Designation (#ODD) from the U.S. @FDA , underscoring both the urgent need for new sarcoma therapies and the potential of this program.

Thousands of kilometers to work by bike. 🚴‍♂️
I truly admire my colleagues at @SOTIO and SCTbio who take part in this initiative. Some of them commute by #bike every single day, in all kinds of weather – and not just in May.

[SOTIO @SOTIO]

Two wheels, many kilometers, and a shared commitment to sustainability! For the 9th year, SOTIO and SCTbio colleagues joined the ‘Bike To Work’ initiative. This year, 26 participants covered a total of 8,400 km, helping to reduce roughly 1,374 kg of CO2 emissions and supporting a more sustainable communing culture. Congratulations to this year’s top performers: Irena Kabátova (613.37 km) and Christian Frantz (933 km).

Team Slowrider, consisting of Petra Svobodová, Adam Těhník, Martin Pávek, Aleš Slavíček and Jakub Lipovský, took first place with 2,335.82 km. Team Kološlapky followed with 2,084 km, and Team Kolohnáti with 1,601.5 km. Thanks to everyone who participated!
