Btw, something I should add was that China was actually so successful at expurging Uyghur Islamist terrorism from Xinjiang that a lot of them were forced to flee to Afghanistan and then Syria to pursue their jihadist activities that destabilised both countries. And this kind of westward migration of barbarians from China has historical parallels with how China eliminating the Xiongnu led them to flee westwards and ultimately became the Hun that ransacked Rome. It's uncanny how that works.
