@GreenTyler27 Sorry, that's a load of twaddle. Kids are at school for about 6 hours a day for up to 200 days a year. That's the equivalwnt of 50 full (24 hour) days a year, which leaves another 315 days a year for parents to influence 'identity and personal beliefs'. Sound fair?
@Acyn Can I suggest looking at the Australian model, where an independent and non-partisan national electoral commission drafts electoral maps and conducts elections?
@RositaDaz48 Could ,,,Potentially,,,you really are clutching at straws. This semantic punching down on a mythical tiny minority is the sort of nonsense people trot out when they don't have anything of substance to talk about.
@SatoshiWolf As in just about every country on earth, there are things most of us wish were better. But you destroy your credibility by catastrophising everything and using loaded terms like 'real energy solutions' and 'net zero scams'.
@IanBatchelor11@Matt_Camenzuli Most unlikely. The Senate would need to reject the same piece of legislation twice at least three months apart. Then the PM decides whether to request an election. Also a DD makes it a lot easier for more assorted right-wing ratbags to get elected to the Senate.
@jchmcl09@mjwolfs@magachrchpastr It's great that you are trying to keep satire, the great antidote for pomposity and zealotry, alive. I hope it's not in vain.
@MustangMan_TX Giving interviews isn't a privilege for politicians, it's a requirement of the job. Politicians like Trump who bluster and try to insult their interviewer invariably have something to hide.
